ok

I like that I am able to support myself if needed

though my parenting skills have at times not been the greatest ( young mom, didnt have a clue..) my children Know beyond doubt that they are loved

I am a quick learner in most areas

I am becoming more comfortable with me

liesagain - as the saying goes, they don't come with owners manuals, you have the most important one covered, they know they are loved. You are a fantastic parent.

Oh thank you splendra, you don't have any idea how many times that avatar and you picked up my spirits. Isn't it strange how music and dance can just lift us up?

thanks frankly..............I sure hope love wins out over some of my parenting mistakes ( kids are 16 & 18) and recently in my Coda meetings and reading healing the inner child books I realise I have done alot wrong ......high pressure high expectations yelling that kind of stuff.........And like a good codie.........I now worry that I may have these poor kids in meetings themself oneday

well its not that bad really, just a new awareness of things I could have done differently........but so far they are great kids and all one can really do is live and learn and make corrections when needed

liesagain - take it from a child that endured unimmaginable things, if my parents had just shown me an ounce of love, I wouldn't be the mess I am today.

Speaking of which, I love the fact that I tell my kids daily that I love them. I can now say those words "I love you" without fear.

I do floral designing
I know how to line dance
I love to decorate
And last but not least.......I have a pink toolbox pink handled tools and look out cause I know how to use em'

Parent........I'm also good in the kitchen. I used to love to cook a lot when the family was all at home. I don't do much of it for myself.
Every once in a while I like to make homemade soups for myself. One thing I can always eat even when I am upset and don't feel like eating is my homemade soup.

Thanks Frankly........When I first got on here this morning I was feeling very anxious
and kind of down. I am feeling a little more relaxed now and smiling.

I am intelligent, beautiful and if its something I care about I am a fast learner.
I havent killed my children yet, actually most days I like them.
I too love animals and are great with them, who else has hissing turtles who eat out of her hand or rats that curl up and sleep on her shoulder.

The bugs, though sorry Frankly, but they gotta go, if their fast I may ignore them but add more than two and I have a spray can handly.

(2 things Im working on- putting a sock in my mouth and patience)

Lobo - Parent

I envy you both, I couldn't put two colors togeather for nothing. What's a kitchen? Can someone please explain to me what a kitchen is? LOL

I tried to impress Jerry once with a home made omlet, diced onions, mushrooms, chedder cheese. Milk in the egg. I burnt the outside and the inside was raw. The poor man eat it anyway. The bright side was, he never asked me to cook breakfast again. LOL Of course after spending the day in the bathroom, I can't blame him.

On the other hand, I can make a mean pasta sauce with broccoli.

I have to add Frankly, pet bred, not wild by any means. They use a litter box and wait at a bowl to be fed.

thanks for clarifying cinderella. I wasn't worried I swear!

In honor of all the dance lovers here, I just tried to imitate splendra's avitar on my front walk way while taking the dogs out. It felt pretty good too. Liberating in fact.

I love the fact that at my age, I can be silly for no reason.
