Question OT: anyone know of any

Good devotional books? My husband and I are looking into trying to read through one together at night, because his job basically keeps him from being able to go to church on any kind of consistent basis (he only has weekends off every 3rd month, and he has to be at work at 3 am, so going anywhere in the evenings is kinda tough).

Thanks!

This book offers amazing words and thoughts that inspire me. Amazing Freedom: Devotions to Free Your Spirit and Fill Your Heart
By: Women of Faith

Also, "God's Will in Today's World" carries a Christian message of today and living life well. Here is a link to some of the thoughts in that book.

Worship comes from the heart, and is not necessarily about where we worship but how.

Hope these are a good start for you both.

Hugs

Lady, I don't have any books but want to tell you that I don't attend church. God knows what is in my heart though. Living a good life is what I believe that God wants from us. Hugs, Marle

By "Devotional" do you mean religious in nature?

Also, I have been dying to ask. What does it mean when a post starts with "OT"?

Off topic

Off the top of my head, I don't think I can offer any for the purposes you have described, but I think your idea is lovely, Lady.

Hi Lady---

My Husband and I have a Marriage Devotional Bible. When you read through it, each devotional pertains to the chapter at hand, whether it be forgiveness, anger, death, love, birth, etc....its a really good bible with perfectly spaced devotionals for each person and for the couple as a whole.

I think Dave Arp is the person who put it together so if you search Marriage Devotional Bible and Dave Arp it will probably come up....its got butterflies on the front.
