Even if he truly means it this time, it's still going to be a loooong road. Are you prepared for that? You stated that you didn't love him any more. Then take a break. A nice long breather from him, so you can get your thoughts together. You may not feel this way a while from now.

I am sorry you're going through all that chaos. I believe there's a time in relationships with an addicted partner that we come to the end of our caring. We lose hope in that person because they prove to us over and over how unreliable they are.
Don't feel guilty for doing what you need to do to keep or gain your sanity.
Addiction can drain us of every ounce of energy and leave nothing for us.
As you know, addicts are great manipulators. They go on and on for years making us think that WE are the crazy or mean one. Then, when we finally figure them out, they realize they're about to lose the only person who cares about them. Then the limitless promises come. Then, they start the manipulation process again.
It's a merry go round that never stops till they earnestly and truly seek help and STAY in the program.
We just have to do what we must to keep our own sanity, what ever that may be.
