Lost a member of home group
Tonight at my home group of Nar-Anon, they announced that a regular member passed away this weekend. He has not been to meetings the last month. He was diagnoised with Cancer,last month, in the past month he got back with his wife, they were separated, and made admends with his son and step son both addicts.
Larry was always good for a laugh at the meetings, if he was mad just the way he would describe everything would be really funny, or he would just sit there and wait for someone to say something and look at you and say it is about time you got your sh*t together.
Larry's viewing was tonight and he was creamated right after the viewing. The meeting was really hard to get through, since I led the newcombers after just hearing of his passing. I did cry for him all the way him.
Please say a prayer for Larry to rest in peace, and that his son and step son will finally get clean in memory of him. He was a loving and caring guy and only wanted the best of both boys.

I am sorry to hear about your friends death. It sounds like he shared at the meetings true to him. Tell it like it is. I pray he touched his son and step son and they will take his death as a start to a new life for them.

((((Pam))))) I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. How strong you are to continue on and lead the newcomers...thank you my friend. Prayers for you and for Larry. Prayers for his sons that they may find the light. Love you, Pam.

Thank you all of your support. I know Larry is in a better place and thankful that he did not suffer with cancer long. I'm also happy that he was able to get back with his 2 addicts. It gives me hope with my own son.
