So, that means she's only got 3 months and 2 weeks left!

I too have written to Gwen, haven't heard back, however, if she doesn't respond that's ok with me, just want her to know that she is in my thoughts.

I included a blank stamped envelope with my letter, I know that money is very tight for her and her family right now.

It's 5 months (150days) from July 22nd. She has to be at the prison for a month before she can be entered into the 'rehab/education' program which is a 120 day program.

I will be printing this thread out on Sunday to mail to her.

It will be awhile before she can write back, but at least she will be getting our mail.

No early release or time off for good behavior? What a mess.

I am so happy that lauri6781 is sending her this thread. How encouraging for her it will be! She has been through so much and come out an amazing person, a changed person. This is what recovery is all about. Even though she's paying for a mistake, once the time is over, she has, as BigSis says, A SPOTLESS FUTURE!!!

This is really weird, because I also have been thinking of her all day. I'm trying to put a lot of faith in hp now, I'm sure Gwen's hp is with her.

Gwen will be let out early for good behavior or she will use the full 4 months to reach as many people as she can with the message of hope that recovery does work and can be had by all.
