Asking for prayers

My mom was admitted to the hospital this morning. She has a bone infection that's spread throughout her body. They'll be doing surgery to remove part of the bone but can't remove the whole bone because she's too sick at this point. Please, any prayers you can send out would be deeply appreciated! Her name is Kathy!

I spoke to her a little while ago at the hospital. They've asked for a vascular consult and an infectious consult. They said that the infection is so bad that removing the bone won't even help at this point because it's spread too far. They're going to try to cut away part of the bone and remove as much of the infectious material as they can, and then flood the bone with antibiotics.

I just really can't believe all of this is happening!

NGU.. I am saying a prayer for Mom Kathy.
God, please help Kathy to fight this illness and to come through it fine. Please help her daughter to be strong for her.
