Hi all. I'm not sure if you will remember me, but I was here after I let my fiance go due to addiction. I was broken and confused and not even myself anymore. Being here and able to share what I was feeling and getting advice helped more than I ever thought it would.

I thought after that I would be done with dealing with addiction. However, my daughter's father is now addicted to meth. He is not doing well and his girlfriend is lost. I am looking for a story that helped me understand how it is to be with an addict. It is a story about a lady finding a guy on a boat at sea and how his boat was a little torn up but she helped him get it in shape, not noticing that her boat was floating away. Does anyone know how I can find this?

I will also be giving her this website to come to for strength and encouragement.
