Just got off the phone with my son. He didn't even ask me to get him out, I guess he finally understood we weren't going to his rescue for once in his life. He sounded okay just saying he wanted to get out. I told him that I loved him, and never wanted him to end up in jail and that we tried everything to help him out, and now it was his turn to help himself. He thinks that he is being charged with a DUI, and possession, and that he will get mandated classes. Thanks again for the prayers.

My son just went through this at 17...except I had him arrested. he got released into my custody as long as he goes back to rehab. He's been to rehab 4 times, getting ready for his 5th. I also did not bail him out, and man it was tough. You sound very centered and strong. Keep it up.
