Someone (not my doctor) told me that as long as I was still on B.C. pills I wouldn't go into menopause. Is that true? I've been on B.C. pills continuously since 1979.

I don't think that is true. Everyone goes through it from what i understand. Your body stops making eggs at some point.

I just wondered if keeping the hormone level constant as it is, would keep me from having menopausal symptoms, and that i possibly woudl continue to have a "pill period", which isn't a real period at all.
BTW, you are born with all the eggs you will ever have in your lifetime. They are just released over the course of your reproductive life cycle. That is why it is dangerous for older women to have children with the chance of birth defects being greater: the eggs age with your body.

Only the ones with the steel toes in them and from what I understand, Ann has the eyes of a sharp shooter so there won't be any missing you once she sets her aim.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm doing what I'm told.

Hey Crabby Cat...Hope the day got better. I'm a huge fan of walking..or running if I am ready to clobber somebody...it always gets me to a better place, at least temporarily. And the weird thing is, as I take a little time out for me, my stress level lowers and I get more done in less time.

Of course there are still some days where I just count the minutes until I can go back to bed and start anew the next day.

Hugs
