As Is Gone

Well, Today We Gased Up His Truck, Gave Him Food Cards For Wendys, Mcdonalds And Arbys, A Wal Mart Card, A Money Order For The Oxford House And Hes Off To Nashville. He Actually Followed Through And Found A Bed. So Now Well See, As Always I Cant Set My Expectations Too High For I Know Too Well What Can, Might, Probably Will Happen. He Is Really Mourning Not Getting To See 15 Year Old Agf, Shes In Dhs Custody. Which Is Good For Her And Him. Anyway Weve Followed Up On Our Offer, Hes Finally Accepted It And Now All We Can Do Is Pray And Hope That This Really Is His Time. Its Probably Not But Maybe

I pray he has a safe journey to Nashville. How far is it? Let us know when he arrives. As far as the 15 yo, she is where she needs to be so hopefully, she can get help also.

Nashville Is About 85 Miles, The Guy At The Oxford House Said He Would Give Him The Bed And The House Would Vote On Sunday Whether He Could Stay Or Not. I Hope He Gets To.

That is great news. It is always nice to see where the kids take the parent help to do the right thing. Hope the Oxford House is good for him. In my prayers.

Good Luck, Lake. Maybe this time it will work. I will pray for you and yours. My as is still home, penniless, and feeling a bit depressed that he has no job or money yet. Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say. Hopefully, his depression doesn't result in using again. Here's praying that both of our sons find their way.
