Day Three - Got Through It!! Day three - got through it with no contact - took my little guy mini golfing then out to lunch and out for ice cream - have to admit my mind did wander a bit (quite a bit) BUT i made no contact! Tried taking your advice and kept busy - its about 10PM right now and i'm feeling really anxious - is this normal? I'm also on edge so i'm thinking of going upstairs so i won't snap at anyone for no reason - i hate feeling this way - i want it to stop - any ideas or do i just have to suck it up and stick it out? |
It sounds like your doing well, good for you for taking some positive action to get through this. When I feel edgy and overwhelmed, the only think that helps me is to say a prayer and turn it all over to my higher power. It takes a load off at the end of a long day and lets me sleep like a baby.
