Little moments of peace and tranquility

Last night I was able for about half an hour lay on the couch and just clear my head and think of nothing as I watched my turtles and fish swim gracefully across the room. all was quiet all was peaceful when I arose I felt sooo mellow

Please sure your peaceful moments you are able to steal away ina hectic life

My dog got spayed yesterday.. I have to pick her up today and pay for that (ugh)... so I have a post operative dog to care for. My new Kitten (who I have yet to get a good photo of.. he moves all the time.. I have butt photos.. lol) controls the house. The other cats hiss and run from him (they weigh in at 18 pounds?). The dog lays down and looks at him with hurt feelings when the little thing hisses and growls at her. My world is being run by an under 1 pound kitten!

I have dog school starting tonight (first clas you don't bring the dog). I have Alanon. I have church. I have to do some work on the house. I have the vegetable garden (I AM going to be putting up food for winter! Woo Hoo!), the lawn, the flower garden, cleaning.....

Oh yeah.. and I have to go to work M-F 6:00AM -5:00PM I am out of the house...

.. and there is the truck that needs the oil changed and to be greased...

Peace? Peace? what the heck is peace!???? LOL

Maybe I can take some time this weekend and sit on my deck, watch the humming birds, listen to the Catbird sing, listen to the House Wren sing, and listen to the creek out back.. if the kitten takes a nap and the dog feels OK.. and Naughty isn't opening a draer or a cabinet and dumping the contents out just to see what is there..... so the other cats can all go through the stuff to see if any of it is good to eat...

Yes.. when you get them thar peacful moments appreciate 'em!

Right now I have flower beds to water, trim the dead flowers off, and pull weeds.
I water every 2-3 days as its very dry here... I have a 20 minute routine when I do
this. For some reason, that gives me peace and tranquility and a sense of accomplishment too. Then I admire my pretty flowers.

Reading in bed right before I fall asleep. Usually a self-help book, but it's definitely a peaceful time.
