well, she's calling and leaving messages about every ten minutes, so i guess that part about taking us off her support list was just an act of manipulation?
per her messages - she's out today with an aa friend, trying to find a halfway to take her in. if i stay the heck out of her way, she just might figure this out?

I want to give you some type of encouragement - but I don't know what to say - I know how hard it is trying not to listen to those messages, trying not to find out where she is staying, trying not to do anything.
It's just hard.

She will find her way..one way or the other. Hopefully, she is w/ an AA friend and they are talking through whatever happened. Seems like God's hands are at work.

Hold tight to our hands in friendship and support and let HP wrap you in his protective arms. I know this is so incredibly difficult...Your love for your daughter shines through in all your posts. we have not allowed her to come home. she is looking for halfway house that will take her without 30 days sobriety - not easy to find here. her cell phone will be turned off in the next day or so - it's again over $200 behind. she has a probation mtg this morning, and they won't be too happy to find her not in treatment/halfway. she has lost her job (again). she's staying with a friend and her mom, who are actually a pretty good influences. we met her yesterday for a session with our counselor. we brought her a bag of groceries and case of bottled water.
she appears to be staying clean/sober - we can tell when she's not now - we've seen the behavior enough times to know the difference.
we're trying very hard to step back and let her make her own decisions.

At least she is still trying. I think that's a plus. I know how hard it is to sit back and wait and watch them fall and struggle. I hope she finds a place soon. Maybe these folks are part of the answer to prayer.
