Please keep Gwen Marie in your prayers.

The Judge (I use the term loosely, there are other names I can think of that are more appropriate) has sentenced Gwen Marie to

4 YEARS with NO TIME OFF for good behavior. Said she has to serve ALL 4 years.

Right now she is hysterical. She is being given time to go home to say goodbye to her family and must surrender herself later today.

HP please watch over my dear friend Gwen Marie and keep her safe.

Oh my god I want to cry for her right now. Four years god how could they be that cruel. I understand the whole thing they say she did the crime has to pay her time but come on she got herself together, was doing what she was supposed to and they give her four years. I guess she shouldnt have been driving without the license but she lives in a area that in order to survive you need to drive.

OMG. I too thought there would be a lighter sentence. I am so sorry for Gwen and her family. My thoughts and prayers are with them. Any hope for an appeal of any kind??

If she had taken it to trial, because she really had no defense she would have gotten 8 to 10, so this was the deal........................even though her P.O. spoke up for her and said she was doing everything asked of her, had even sold her house and moved to get back to an area where there was family so she wouldn't have to drive, and even though she had not driven again.

Revoked the probation and gave her 4 friggin years.

Her attorney will see, but they doubt if there is any room to wiggle or get the sentence changed.

Four years for driving with a suspended license and after Paris Hilton lost her license DUI got 23 days and served three days...This is horrible Gwen...I feel terrible for you and you family. I wonder if there is an appeals system for stupid crap like this?

From memory I think it was a combo of time for driving on suspended and revocation of probation, am I correct? I had actually sorta thought a year, but didnt want to jinx it. Does anyone remember what the original probation was for?

4 years for driving w/o license? I heard of so many worse crimes that get a slap on the wrist. I am praying for her, I know she is broken...so scared. I thought the atty'd dad was going to postpone? something isn't right.

Maybe she can appeal..........or maybe good behavior with an early release. I'm just appauled. This really stinks when I think of what Paris Hilton got. My daughter was in the same jail as Paris for violating her probation..........she had no bed, none available. She laid on the floor with a ton of other women. My daughter was very sick as she was only 2 weeks out of brain surgery. She needed medical care and when she asked for a nurse for some help they ignored her. Just goes to show if you are not a Paris Hilton you don't matter.

I think this whole situation stinks. Four years with an addict a long time, four years at the same job is a long time and four years in prison is a lot longer than those in our heads. I am a law abiding person with a bad boy edge...if that happened to me..I would head north to Canada and start over. If it was a comprable crime for the time then thats one thing but I have done worse things than that...they are just making an example out of her. @%$#&^&%$ !!!
