For Those Trying To Get Away From An Addict
I was just thinking of this. Maybe it's not a good reason for a thread, but I thought this way everyone would see it and it really helps me and maybe it will help some one else.
There seem to be a lot of us who are trying to put distance between ourselves and an addict in our lives.
There is something I read once that I try to keep in mind. It's simple and here it is....
"Better a painful ending than pain without end."

How true, and the really BAD part is if you stay too long, you could suffer more damage than you think.
I pay all my bills, never late. Today I find even after being divorced almost 2 years things are showing up on my credit report where it was HIS credit card and the cc's are trying to make me responsible. You won't be able to buy a house with bad credit. It's terrible what they do to themselves, but even worse what they do to us. We don't deserve it.
