And I agree with calabas...When the pain of using becomes greater than the pain of stopping.....only then. I think it is hard to stop....let alone stop and face all the damage you done

I personally believe some have no rock bottom. Maybe its their alck of reality and constant living in fantasy land that keeps it that way. My AH expressed feeling like camping out in a house with no power. His brother tells other stories of them scrouging for food in dumpsters and being told theyd get arrested for tresspassing one lives severely depressed and falling lower why the other keeps this image of prode and everything is dandy.

I truly believe its a matter of time before something really bad happens, but theyc an each change it if they want it bad enough, they know where detox is, instead they choose to detox themselves, feel miserable start using and or drinking again and stay in this endless cycle
