AD taking baby steps
(((((NSW))))))
Glad to hear your good news and your message of hope. Recovery is possible.
The shenanagans with my AS started again just about one year ago. I've been thinking back and remembering Easter, Memorial Day, Mothers Day, his birthday....all those events that he stood me up with lame excuses.
Now I haven't seen or heard from him in 4 months. I hear that he is in a half way house. But, I don't know what to believe anymore.
One day at a time, recovery is possible.

I am so glad that I saw this. I am really praying for you, your grandson, your AD and her abf. Even if they relapse, at least they have taken those first baby steps themselves to get help. As long as the door is open, even a crack, there is light out there.
You are an inspiration, lady! You have come so far from where you started and your recovery is very solid. Sending you some much-deserved hugs!

I'm hoping they are okay too.

That's great news, I hope, and pray they continue on their path to recovery.
They're both being looked after by their H.P.
He'll guide them right where he wants them to be.
