Smile The purge.....of?

Well I left the room alone and didn't say a thing about it.
Monday night after coming home from work AD decided she had had enough and couldn't stand it anymore. There are bags for goodwill, freecycle and the dump all over the place. As luck would have it dump day is today!
She told me yesterday that she has laid all her cards on the table with the clinic personnel she's seen so far and is going to really do something about her life. She's got new meds to take and continues there today and tomorrow and then next week and hopefully for the rest of the summer. But just for today she seems to have the tools and the help that she needs and just might really take advantage of it.
I'm trying to stay out of her way and give only what help she asks for, just praying that she can continue the purge.

Hi Blue...

We share our Experience, Hope and Strength (ESH)... and some days, there isn't much of the latter two.... thank you for sharing your update. I remember how hard I clung to the words of those for whom it appeared perhaps the tide had turned - especially when I first got here. I NEEDED to know that things can get better. (((BluePansy)))

I see it as a big sign of progess that she cleaned up that room, and you kept your lips sealed!

It's funny how these little things in life really pick up our spirits and give us hope.

My oldest actually went to the Oral surgeon yesterday, and had teeth removed, and I didn't even have to take him, he secured his own ride to and from!

Your daughter, my son...makes me smile...

So glad to hear that she was able to do this all by herself! And good for you for staying out of her mess of a room. I know how hard that can be.
Also praying this is a new start for her.
HUGS
