Teke,
I'm doing good today. Haven't been up very long. Just sitting here with my coffee, enjoying the pictures and wondering what I should do today... got the house all cleaned yesterday and most of the laundry done....
Looks like i can just relax today. i think i'll call RAH later to see when he'll be done work, perhaps take the kids over to the provincial park near us for a weenie roast and maybe some fishing..

How do you guys post pics???

Brutzilla was taken on my patioroom.
The others, thats Mr. Sierra (ya who knew he was a boy) outside next to 2 dinosaurs. Mr. Sierra is 5 inches and will be 1 yr in August.

Ill be using Colin and Jasmine for my next episodes.

These pics were taken with a crappy 18 dollar digicam, Cant imagine how awesome theyd be with a good camera.

DId you guys see the movie and how fast that turtle moves?

The dinosaurs are hard plastic toys, like from dollar store.
Last May my son got 1 small tiny turtle, after going through several that did not make it. I bought Colin and then Sierra. In June and September.
Raised just them in a 30 gallon. A friend gave em a 90 gallon in January of this year, as they needed something bigger, then she referred someone with a baby to me. Lil squirt is too tiny for pictures and he's alone in the 30 gallon.
About 2 months ago now I was at my aunts she haad 2 left out of 5 she'd gotten for xmas year before last and they were too big for her tank so she sent them home with me, thats Brutus and Jasmine. Thats how I got my turtles.

I will not keep a wild one unless they are hurt. I did have 2 rescues, one released, the other passed away.

Mine were hatched in captivity, and raised here, theyve never had to find their own food, nor do they have instinct to hide to protect themselves. They eat out of my hand and have had better food. Mine are prbably larger than wild ones of the same age because of nutritional reasons.
A wild one would disappear and hiss like crazy at you
