We're having a baby!
We're having a baby!
I'm so excited and I just can't hide it.
I'm off again to Florida. My daughter is having a few contractions everyday now and I don't want to miss anything. She said "I'm miserable. I need you mommy!" Words that brought tears of joy to this mom's face. They grow up so quickly and become so dang independent so fast you wonder if you'll ever hear those words again.........but I did and I'm so elated.
I'm getting everything in check for the trip and making sure my trust worthy navigation system (Noah) is by the phone and computer the whole time so I don't get lost..............again.
I'm definitely taking roxy with me this trip......we had a bit of separation anxiety from the last one and she's been glued to my lap ever since.
Noah has been a real trooper through this whole thing. Seems I've been gone more than here with him and when I've been here........well lets just say I've got my own issues I'm dealing with. He's been so wonderful and patient with me. The after shocks of a volitile relationship are catching up to me and I have so much to work on still. However, I believe it's worth the effort and will be back to torcher him some more (just kidding).
I'll be down there for a few months this time to make sure my baby has a good head start with her baby (my grandbaby ).
I PROMISE to take pictures this time and I'm even bringing my card reader so I can load them where ever there is a computer for me to use. I'll try and keep in touch as much as possible with play by plays (just kidding). I'll leave the icky stuff out.
This is a beautiful time in my life and I want to share every bit of it with all of you who have shared my horrid past with me. You've been there for me through it all and I love you all so much!!
Please keep us in your prayers that all goes well. I'm sure everything will be perfect, but knowing how prayer works around here, it certainly can't hurt.
Keep the home fires burning for me please. I'll be back with a GRANDSON!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs
Kris

Its kinda funny. When my sisters daughter had kids, my sister was very young too. My neice was 17 and my sister was only 34. She refused to be called Mawmaw, granny, grandma, or anything remotely close so when the kids got old enough to talk she made them call her Mama Pam......everyone told her she'd only confuse the kids but they figured it out.
A work in progress....
