Anniversary letter from EXAH...and PUPPY PICTURE!!
Good morning all,
I just wanted to share that the anniversary letter EXAH wrote was typical of his mindset.
It began "It's my 25th anniversary today...". Not OURS, but MINE.
"God wouldn't have let me spend the last 27 years with the same woman for no reason..." (Ah, excuse me but don't you have three wonderful children???)
It went on to say that "bringing up the bad things in our past will only make the healing of a broken marriage worse..." (And that is a problem how??)
"I've already forgiven you....." (gee thanks?!?!)
"Many times I was not a very good husband...I never loved another woman..." (no #@!* comment!)
"All I ever wanted was for you to want me the way I wanted you...that always hurt me......"
"I've prayed that when we start talking again you might find a way to put all the bitterness behind you....."
Not a mention of drugs, abuse, no "I'm so sorry I hurt you". Zilch.
As before, it's all about him and his feelings and how wrong I am not to just forgive him....*sigh* He is so messed up,,,,,
Well, about ME and the boys. We went and got Dakota last night. It took 3 hours to get there; it was in Kentucky coal mine country. But she is ADORABLE and has the best dispostition. Dante is just a LITTLE jealous but I think he'll get a clue when she gets a little older. Here is a shot of her and my youngest:
Off to church, lunch out with the guys, a college production of 'Little Shop of Horrors'. More later..
