We're getting a puppy!!!
When my parents had to put their 13 year old terrior to sleep about a month ago, a girl at the shelter we looked at said, when it is right...the right dog will fall in your lap. I did a search on the internet & found Angie. She looks just like a dog my mother had as a child. She's 1 year 3 months & still acts like a puppy. I was thinking of looking into agility training. She keeps trying to herd my son in the backyard.

What a lovely dog, Rose! We actually also lost a long-time member of our family on Easter. His name was 'Bear'. He was a blue heeler that my almost-20-year-old son received for his 7th birthday. It was the most horrible thing-he had arthritis very bad and couldn't get around very well. We came home on Easter to find him drowned in the swimming pool. I guess maybe he was going to get a drink out of it and fell in; we really don't know what happened. My son had to drag him out and bury him.
Here is a picture of him and Dante a couple of years ago.

What beautiful puppies and dogs!!!
I take every opportunity to show off my little girl - Bambi. I feel like I'm taking her out to a virtual dog park...

You guys, I just love the pictures. Duet, sorry you lost your baby in such a tragic way. Maybe Bear thought that the water would help his arthritis. Brings tears to my eyes thinking about it as my one Brittany, Annie is over 12 and I know her time is coming. Hugs, Marle

GL I was watching the Animal Planet Channel last week (emergency vets) and they had a woman who was doing agility with her pug. It was so cute. The first time through he knocked down one of the poles on a jump, but did a perfect job the second time. It was so cute watching him do the weave. Marle
Awwwwww...........I want another one too. You know what they say..........Once you go pug......LOL
Helpus, I use photobucket (dot com) You can open an account free there and then upload your pics. Then copy the url link from the uploaded pic.
Now, go to the quickreply on the bottom of the thread you want to post on (I haven't been able to get the regular reply to work with posting a pic since we lost the smileys) When you are ready to post your pic, click on the icon above quick reply that looks like a picture of a mountain and the sun. That will open a place for you to paste the url from your uploaded picture. Then hit submit reply and the pic should be there.
Sometimes pics are too big for here, but on photobucket you can click edit and resize to make them smaller (message board or avatar size)
I don't know if this makes any sense or not; hopefully enough for you to try it and then figure it out from there. Hugs
