help, im afraid that my husband wont forgive me this time
 

I have been using marijuana for the last two years, ever since my daughter was born, and since then I have cheated on my husband, once, and lied to him and promised him that I will stop smoking it and every few months there i am again trying to contact people to get some weed. in this case i contacted the person i had cheated on my husband with. he has forgiven me every time i have told him the truth and asked him for help, i think i need to get into a recovery program because i feel like my dad, an alcoholic, every few months he'd binge and wed all forgive him. now i am in his shoes. i love my husband so much and i am afraid that this time he will hate me forever and i am so scared of this
what do i do?

welcome to S.R. glad u are asking for help. there are lots of rehabs you can get into in & out patient. are you going to n/a meetings? if your husbands sees you are serious about getting clean & staying clean maybe you can work on your marriage.also try our S.R. substance abuse site. i am sure there is lots of info there & lots of people that have been just where you are.

What I would do... Find where they have NA or AA meetings in the area and start going to them.
When we do such things that we do ..lie cheat ...we need prove our self again so that others start to trust us again. When I say I am going to the store be back in 20 minutes... I am back in 20 or I call and let people know.
Go where I say I am going and do what I say I am doing. If things change...I let others know.

So let your actions do your talking for you. Have a plan for getting to meetings and explain to him... You need find answers because you are struggling with the choice to stop...this is my plan....
and then do as you tell him.
