update on little j.
it is so sad. he called me yesterday morning. grandma,i'm sorry. i left the home again, will you come & get me? he was about 35 miles from me.time i got there there was 4 sheriffs cars & 2 of the group home workers at the store i was going to pick him up at.i talked to all of them & they left.the girl at the convience store called the group home after he talked to me & they called the sheriff. he called me on my cell & i picked him up,brought him to my house & he spent the nite. i talked to his social worker & told her i would get him back to the home today.the group supervisor let him stay.she said that was IT,if he runs again he could not come there.we spent the day yesterday & this morning trying to guide little j. some more. i am so tired of the stress of all of this.he is only 15 but he knows right from wrong.i have got to use my recovery with him.i hate the fact of him going to a locked faucility but that is not my choice & i have no power.i played it all today.one more time & he is gone.please continue your prayers for him. thanks you all.
Hope, Maybe what he needs is that locked facility. I know that you want so much more for your grandson and this is so hard for you especially since he is so young. But he is capable of following rules and he is making a decision not to at this time. I will pray that he will find his way and that you will have some peace in your life. Hugs to you, Marle
i just want him to face his problems & let them go.his social worker & the supervisor both said that the times jaxson run were the days he had appointments for his assesment. he told us he did not want to go.i do not know what is up with that.he promise us when we left that next time he would. we will see.they can not help him with out it. we need the peace. thanks for the prayers,
Hi Hope. thanks for the update on Little J. I will keep him and you in my prayers. I know you love him very much. No matter what boundaries you have to set, he knows you love him. I know you have told him that.
Yes.. at 15 he knows the rules. I agree.

(((Hope))) Remember the saying, God has no grandchildren?
True.
He is with Little J...through all of this. He knows what J needs to learn. Hard to watch, though. I am glad it is God who does that part.

Please know that i keep your young grandson in my prayers
we can not directly touch each other here at SR so we pay it forward...
each time one of us extends a kindness to someone we plant the seed for someone else to comfort our loved one...
my hope is that your grandson is cherished and comforted by many
