parents finally on board!

hi, my name is lisa ... Im the alcoholic! LOL

I got two calls today from my aunty then my parents. It took a therapist to visit them for them to finally realised my disease! My mum said sorry for all the yelling and finger pointing. Do you know how much that means ???? seriously if you have a loved one stuggling. Just love them, guide them but dont hate them or make them feel worse.

We have all made a 'plan' now for my recovery and Im sticking to it cause its not so scary .. only cause i know finally know my relatives will not hurt me with abusive words. I have to got to detox, then see a doctor then I will have them here with me helping. just doing the one day at a time thing. so Im pretty happy! and life is not that bad now.

Lisa
