You always sing that song
Sleeping single in a double bed
Now baby every Friday that is what I do
I sleep single in a double bed
You must go

Ive learned through the years
sleeping single in a double bed is quite nice
I think I like it best
So you must go

I am singing all this stuff now as I clean....
Geeze it is so good you cannot hear me.

Two rooms down and a wash in the washer.... Spring clothes un packed, winter clothes packed or set aside for the dry cleaner...

Off to deal with the end of the counter then I have about an hour more and I am donedonedone...

Oh yeah.. and yesterday I got my final tax return and I paid off the last of scumbags bills. I have just reduced my debt hugely.. well, I have the mortgage but you got to do what you got to do.

So, I can sing "I feel Free?"
When you get your car back I would make him WALK...
He has no problem making you walk and the kids!

Back to work. Pressing on!

Im free for the first time, Im so moving on, since youve been gone, oh yeah.

Im dancing around the tile, mop in hand dancing to that.

This is pathetic laaadies. Its 2 pm Saturday and "this is my life" Im so over it. No hear from MIL so guess Im not gonna try to get my car. Its okay they always come back...

New project plan, although cant do today. Setting up the 20 gallon tank my son hit with the bat as a terrarium for frogs and newts for my older son. Ill start it when I can get to the fish store, doing it different this time, it'll be much better than the smaller tank.

I think too, Im gonna set his room up differently, maybe paint a tree directly on the wall and then he wants jungle pics all around.
Once I get the bed from the other house my 5 year old will be in with his little brother. They want all their artwork on the wall. So Im running a string up high with old clothes pins and they will have a picture line.

All I can do is make the plans now.

the room sounds great. I paint.. and I got to paint horses on my wall when I was 12. Awesome. I might do that here too. Make a template and have them running around one wall. I love the idea of the picture line. A jungle scen allows for a lot of colors too. Just remember, someday you may want to paint over it.

I am SOOOOO done cleaning. Washes are going. I keep the place up well, but this was spring cleaning and I like it nice for my family. They always go the xtra mile at their homes so I will do likewise. I am anal about my house. With 4 cats I never ever want anyone to be offended by them.. so I just keep on top of the place.

I should go to the store and a get a couple of things, but it can wait.

I got a question.. The room that used to be HIS room still smells of smoke. I had new carpets installed b4 we moved in and he was in there a year. He moved out and I cleaned the carpet and washed the walls, drapes.. EVERYTHING but it STILL smells of his smoke. I really cleaned that carpet too... with a steamer machine my sister has.

I finally put 'carpet fresh' on the rug.. it helps.. I tried coffee grounds and vacuumed them up and it helped.. but the smell comes back.

I am going to get rent an industrial carpet cleaning machine this spring.. I was just wondering if you have any ideas how to get rid of the odor?

Id repaint the room if you have not. Then when it warms up open the window and keep the door shut.
Maybe peal some oranges and lay the peals around. Maybe use baking soda on the carpet, leave 24 hours and vaccuum

I use carpeet fresh. My boys room always smells like gym socks, its the only thing that helps. DO you have curtins? If so they need to be washed also.

My computer room is home to my cat box and it can smell funky in here. I have an automatic airfreshner that sprays every 30 minutes.

I will try some of that.. repainting is certainly an option. I think the problem is the carpet. It is very good carpet and I think it I clean it again and try the other things. I have washed the drapes (curtains) and the walls.. it is just a pervasive and peristent smell!

I watch the birds at the feeder.

I just looked out the window and we ar in the midst of a snow squall. Snowing like heck! I ran out and got this....

Sure.. I forget.. you are in South FL.. no snow (or real rare). These are crocuses. One of the first spring bulbs. Plant them in the fall and they come up in the spring. They will spread too. These were planted the fall of 2005.

Very much easter looking with the color but not the snow!

I would have a piece of him if he took my only means of transportation....

Nobody says a bad thing about my horse, my cats, my dog and my family and NO ONE TOUCHES MY TRUCK!!!!
They do, they get to deal with me...

Sounds like you are about there too...

Sorry this is happening. I really am. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday.. I don't know your religion but Church is a good place to go. Don't know if you can get to one w/o a car, but I always found Easter Sunday and Churh to be a good thing.. something real good and renewing.

Good 4 U!
Sounds like strong recovery words.

Today at Easter Service one of the things we were asked to do is to respect the dignity of others.. and we all answered "I will with the Help of God.."

I look ar our Addicts and think we must allow them the dignity of finding there own path through the consequences of their own actions. We must allow them the dignity to make this discovery, and for us to continue to enable them and not allow them this is to take away their dignity.

The sooner they find out they must take care of themselves in their addiction and we no longer will do it for them, the sooner they may be allowed the dignity to live their lives the way they want to, either continuing on the path of active addiction or through recovery. The choice is their choice not ours..

Our choice must be to retain our own dignity by taking care of ourselves and, if we have them, our children.

Happy Easter Cindy, to you and your family!
Now go pet a turtle.
