One more question, sorry...

Ok, a little background first:

He initially started on RX vicodin and when I realized he was abusing them, I made him go to the Dr and get off them by switiching to Methadone and wean off. He then abused the methadone. So, I called his Dr and they cut him off.

Then I heard about the "wonderful suboxone program" (NOT) that is supposed to be helping opiate addicts.

I helped him get into it, it's VERY expensive and I used some of the money my dad left me when he died to get him into it.
At first it seemed like it was working, now I find out he's abusing those. So, I guess my question is, should I stop giving him the money to go to the Dr to get his RX every 2 weeks? It's $150 an appointment...

Follow your gut if hes not serious about stopping speak with the Dr about when he will start tapering him. You dont want to stop the sub cold turkey the withdrawls are horrible much worse than stopping any other opiate. I have seen people stop sub and turn to worse drugs to stop the withdrawl. I wish I had the answer for you. Maybe post this in the substance abuse board and tell them what you said here. You will get infomed opinions from people who have been on sub.
