Update

Well it is Saturday and that means my husband is in Florida, perhaps with his ex-girlfriend. Who knows? He is such a liar afterall.

I thought I would be upset all day and freaking out about it. I didn't. I almost forgot about it. He called a few times and it was during those moments that I felt anxiety but I didn't bring the ex-girlfriend thing up. I didn't question him because I knew he wouldn't tell the truth anyway if he were with her. I ended the conversation early and haven't called him at all.

I am proud of myself. It is a small accomplishment but big too. I focused on myself and the kids instead. I can't control what he is doing and so it isn't worth my time.

It is hard admitting how little control we have over much of anything but we don't. We only kid ourselves when we think we do....wait, I think I might actually be working on step 1. You have to start somewhere... : )

Wow! That's awesome that you have not allowed this to eat you up all day long.
Think GOOD thoughts and read pretty magazines. Keep your mind on good things. This helps me when I am angry.

Book, Those baby steps do add up. I am happy that you are having a slightly easier time of it. It will become easier and better with time. Just keep taking those steps. Hugs, Marle
