feeling a teeny bit anxious

Good morning,
Just a bit of gibberish here.
..you know how they say you can't run away from your problems? Well, guess what..you can't run away from the thoughts in your head, either.
Inside my head, I know that the oldest is suppose to be released March 19th. and my brother called, and said at this moment in time, there's no room for him at the Inn...(that would be the Sober House...) so, I'm kind of crossing my fingers and toes and hoping and praying a whole bunch, that a spot opens up.

Now the other side of my head is thinking...what in the heck are you fretting about a 33 year old MAN. Because that's what we're dealing with here....give it up, turn it over...what is..well...is. His H.P. has a plan, it'll work out...and TRULY, I know it will....but this fretting thing is a BAD thing.

Another thought...(I'm full of them) I started a new book...called "Faith in the Valley" by Iyanla Vanzant.
She explains that these thoughts, are called "Valleys" lonely, painful, confusing experiences that we all feel from time to time. They are supposedly a learning experience, designed to teach us our character traits and spiritual virtues that are undeveloped duirng our life experiences.
And that these "Valleys" teach us to stretch and grow into our greatest potential.
And it's possible to talk ourselves right into a "Valley" (that would be me...)

So now, I'm thinking on a little low on faith, confidence and prayer...so I'm going to really work on it today, and see if I can walk on out of this Valley.

In fact, I'm going to go walk the beach, and have a discussion with my H.P. and see if he can lend a hand for me to help pull myself up, and out.

Hugs to all,

3, 33, or 103... A son is a son and a Mom is a mom.

Guess what... Mom's fret.

On your walk... Please tell God I said Thank you.
Thank you for making mom's as You do.
A mother's love is an extention of God's hand.

If you find areas of need for correction, all and good but if you don't...
maybe you are just doing things the way God intended.
Enjoy your walk.

Hugs, hugs and more hugs. This too shall pass and you will be stronger. Maybe, just maybe he will find a way to work things out for himself. You never know what is around that corner. Sending out some positive energy that it will be something good. Hugs again, Marle

Wait for me, Moose, I'm walking with you.

Your boys are always in my prayers but today I will light a candle and add an additional request that there be an opening or something good for him when he comes out.

It's okay to fret, but only if you walk it off on the beach in the sunshine with your HP walking beside you.

Keep an eye for footprints, we both know they are there.

Hugs

Thanks all,
Wouldn't it be nice to take all our worry, and fretting and put it in a bottle and let it float away?

I kind of did that today, had a long talk with my H.P. and he said things will be just the way he has planned, and there's absolutely, positively, no sense in me worrying my funny little noggin, cause he has it covered.

(I be thinking I should have talked to him at the first start of the fretting, instead of letting it stew and bubble up....silly me.)

So, my Mantra for the next few days will be..."Ummmm.....happy thoughts....ummmm...happy thoughts......

Thank you all...

Happy thoughts happy thoughts happy thoughts.

If it works for you, perhaps it will work for me too. I'll be walking along the beach with you.... and with all the other moms who walk for struggling boys (and girls too).

HUGS from mom to mom

Thank you Moose, I'm glad you had that wonderful walk with your HP. I think I am going to take one right now. I keep sneakers and socks under my desk at work for when I need that time away...this time it will be the full lunch hour. I have quite a bit of worry and resentments that I have to let go of. Walking with HP is just what will do it. Thank you for sharing your recovery here. Love and hugs and prayers for you and your loved ones
