trying for a new job
just asking for prayers, applied for a new job today, that would mean....no more NIGHT shifts, no more weekends...no evening shifts....just 8 - 5, M - F!! This would work so well with my grandson...not to mention my ole a$$ getting toooo tired to be doing this flippin back and forth from days to nights etc. Also it's in a clinic that's 5 min from my house....so I'd save babysitting, gas......means a drop in salary...but hey....who cares ......
So just callin on my SR friends to say a prayer for me!!!!

i worked at the hospital so i know where u r coming from with the weekend & shift work.i did it for about 12 yrs. i hope you get this job & can live normal..lol..i did not realize my body was so tired till i quit. today i am a routine girl.. good luck & you have my prayers.

Count me in on the prayers too. You might be making less in one way but saving so much the other. It will balance out in the long run. I'm sure your grandson would love having you work normal hours.

You have my support here for you, just like many have been
here with me this past week when one door closed with a
job and another one opening for another. I had my interview
yesterday, Friday, and now I wait for the decision next week.
My prayers were answered when I got the call for an interview
back in Dec. for a teller position at a bank here in Baton Rouge.
It was thru that job that allowed me to move back home here
in BR from Houston. I knew banking had changed over the yrs
since i was a teller back in 1980. I tried my best to fit into the
new system of banking for the past few months without much
success.....Then the same day i was let go last week, i got a call
from the hospital that I had been applying for called to set up
a time for an interview.
I believe things happen for a reason and that thru constant prayer
and meditation and continueing to turn my will and life over to
the care of my HP....things that are meant to be will be.
My purpose in life today is to help others in recovery by sharing
my own ESH with them. and as long as I achieve what I am set
out to do in this world, then my own recovery in in good Hands.
