feeling at peace

Today I am feeling at peace with my life. I am letting my daughter fix her own life, and I have turned it over to God. She told my husband that she and her boyfriend were looking into halfway houses. They both went to court yesterday, and she will be loosing her drivers license. I am at least proud of her that she did not ask for any help for this.
Last night it was bitter cold. My husband let them sleep in an outbuilding (this used to be a farm - it is the "milk house") with an electric heater. I am OK with that, and glad he did not let them come in the house, and that they did not ask to come in.
Today I am trusting that life will work out as it should.
Also, I have done something nice for myself. My sister and I will be flying to Florida for my dad's 80th birthday. It is a surprise for him - if my mom can keep a secret. My sister had booked her seat down first class. I have splurged to join her - first class one way! This is something I have never done, and am tickled pink that I could do it. We always laugh together about everything. I know we will have a wonderful time.

Jeep, what an inspiration you are. Have a wonderful trip and I LOVE that you are flying first class. I was bumped up to first class once and it was an amazing experience and I am smiling picturing you and your sister getting spoiled rotten.

Hugs

Hey, I am inspired by your peace about it all.
My son los his job and went straight downhill. It's a living hell.
I am glad to see you are handling it well and right!
