For the record, I do not have any problem with the rules, or the mods and greeters. Also, I don't have any problem with a thread being locked when it turns sour. I have a problem with the condescending remarks that have been made seemingly towards all members of this forum such as this one:

I cannot imagine thinking that my 'right to expression' supercedes someone else's chance at recovery.
and this one

Note- I don't see him arguing over his right to say what he pleases on someones website. Now that's recovery.
And others, but I'm tired of cutting and pasting.

Because none of the mods have closed it. Do you really think we can close a thread that discusses why threads get closed? This thread is practically un-closable. If I close this thread you know how much heat I'm going to get? Is this a good enough example of why mods have to close threads _without_ a popularity vote?
