Welcome back Equus! How was your vacation?

LOL - Have you any idea how fast that title got me in here??!!

We had a mindblowing time! It was LITERALLY a holiday where dreams which seemed so far away last year got lived - we flew kites, played frisby, built sandcastles, peeped at rock pools, ate fine food, (of which fish and chips sat on the beach figured heavily), talked, loved, and laughed our socks off!!

I found a star fish and got to see it legging it to freedom through D's feild microscope (MANY legs!!), new born calves arrived in the field next to us 3 times in the week - and I mean NEW born, oh and the sun shone!

We talked some about last year, I got a lot out that I've struggled to say and found some answers I really needed.

Yep - it was a good holiday!

Vacation IS a good thing, isn't it?

It was something we always tried to make the best of but for me when it was with someone who was very uncomfortable outside the house, barely spoke to strangers, depressed and being steam rollered by addiction - I have to admit 'vacation' came with multiple stresses!!

But that was then and things do change, it felt like a new honeymoon to match new beginings. It's been a very special week for me - one I'll never forget.
