I'm soooo glad you're having a great time Minnie. The food portions are enormous aren't they?? You could end up carrying a mid-section souvenier of your trip here if you're not careful! You only live once though so please enjoy all the food and shopping that your heart desires.

You do have it all in Chicago Patty. I miss the midwest so much for those season changes! It stinks down here in the south.

LOL Patty

And I am strictly talking weather here. If someone said I can visit one of 2 cities on my visit to the States, Chicago or L.A., I'd tell them to catch the first plane to Chicago. I miss a lot about the east coast, just not the weather.

Minnie - can't wait to hear the next installment. Do what I do everywhere I go - buy another bag for the goodies. I always swear I won't do it, but I do - so I buy a tote that will make it through baggage handling and when I get home donate them to county services.

Na... that whole "hunting firemen with Victoria's Secret knickers" comment kinda blew the fantasy for me.. LOL!!

Seriously though I do love the change in seasons here, I just especially love the change from Winter to Spring... LOL!! If I had my way I would live were the IS NO Winter during Winter! LOL!!

That whole 8 months by the pool thing Denny has going on there in LA….
Sure sounds appealing! LA is a cool city but man is it crowded and way expensive! I’ve been to Chicago only once and that was to just sit in O’Hare during a lay over. I’m sure Chicago has much more to offer than that! LOL!!!

The firemen were all a bit busy.

Had a great time in Sedona and the GC - I'm even getting used to the heat now. The GC just blew my mind, I just can't describe.

Cynay is hosting a BBQ tonight and has just led me to the PC to post an update. Oh, and Prodigal is here too!! It is the SW USA SR meet-up!

I am having the best time of my life and just think - if I had never been involved with an alcoholic this would never have happened.

Wish you were all here with us.

M

We had a great time hosting the BBQ.... Yacked too much though to get in the pool. It was such a pleasure to have both Minnie and Prodigal there and get to know them.

Minx also brought L with her too so we got to know him better as well.... could not have asked for a better group or evening.

Patty - I am Last Resort for no-one, especially when there are Dicks involved. lol.

Cynay - thank you so much for yesterday evening. Shame Minx and I were tired, but I think we rose to the occasion enough to do your hospitality justice. You have a great guy there and your daughter is a petal.

Real life has encroached on my holiday in the form of legal stuff, but I will try to deal with that this morning, then I can put it out of my mind again.

Patty you are in a mood... *laughs*

You are more then welcome and I loved doing it. Wish I could take credit but Mr. R did all the work. I only did the salmon.

I hope the legal issues are ok, and dont let it get in the way of having a wonderful time... Take care on the rest of your journey and keep safe (Ive heard stories about those yankees)
