OT - ever wonder how others see you? There is a really cool, easy personality test called the "Myers-Briggs" personality indicator, and it really helped me to understand myself better. I was introduced to this a while ago and it's an amazing way to get some insight on your own personality.... something we co-dependents can really use! You can read up on it (there are books on Amazon), or ask your therapist, and you can even do a free on-line version. Here is a free online version http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp You end up with a four letter code, which is gives you a description of your personality. Enjoy! |
I love this, Robina and thank you for reminding me. I did this many moons ago and was an ISFJ (http://typelogic.com/isfj.html). I didn't quite appreciate the importance of that profile until very recently. It is a sign of my growth in recent years that I now turn out to be INFP (http://typelogic.com/infp.html), which I see as more of a transition phase - I can;t wait to re-do it in a year or so. I'm really interested to see what others come up as. |
Well, i'm an nf..... sorry! can't remember my shortcomings! :13: |
I am so an ENFJ... we are the "helpers" of other people's dreams..that's me to a T.. "Many ENFJs have tremendous power to manipulate others with their phenomenal interpersonal skills and unique salesmanship. But it's usually not meant as manipulation -- ENFJs generally believe in their dreams, and see themselves as helpers and enablers, which they usually are. " also why I'm a good coach.. |
i was an istj - i think in prior times i was an isfj - i'll have to check out my records. i'm thinking more than feeling now? |
I'm an INFJ. It's weird, but most of my close friends are NF's |
INTJ... did the test from the other thread.. Neat stuff. |
INTJ here, too. Very interesting. |
ENFP----thanks; actually quite accurate! |
INTJ also for me. Wish I could turn it off sometimes. |
ISFJ hmm...that was interesting. |
i'm an enfj. |
I'm an INFJ. |
ISFJ....wow, that is very me, but maybe not a good thing. The primary desire of the Protector Guardian is to be of service to others Protectors find great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden and can deal with disability and neediness in others better than any other type. their shyness with strangers is often misjudged as stiffness, even coldness, when in truth these Protectors are warm-hearted and sympathetic, giving happily of themselves to those in need. Protectors are quite content to work alone; indeed, they may experience some discomfort when placed in positions of authority, and may try to do everything themselves rather than insist that others do their jobs. |
ENFP - but with fairly low preferences. |
Another ENFJ here. :) I want to see what DH gets. I would put him as being an ENFP as a guess. :) Would love to read more about this stuff. V interesting. |
anyone else ISTJ? thats how i scored |
I took this a long time ago and was an EFNP. I just went back to retake the test to see if I would get different results and I'm still an EFNP. So far, that's 3 of us (me, EQ and Pick). |
ENFP- whoops ;) |
ISFJ here.. I have taken this before and was not an INFJ. I think its partially relative to where we are mentally and emotionally when taking the test. Great stuff though! |
