Never Give Up The Ship!!!

Today I passed the oral defense for my Masters degree. My committee said it was a home run hit and that I was well deserving of the degree.

And..... my SO was there. He picked me up this morning, worked to help me sooth my nerves all day, took me out for a congratulatory dinner and then... a lot of well deserved quiet time just he and I.

Three years ago.. he was on a path to destruction and I was a willing partner in walking that path.

Thanks to Al-anon, his and her therapists and a lot of hard work. I did it. We did it. And things today look mighty bright!
