New new new !

New furniture, new car, new new new stuff for Sarah!
I finally have a move date nailed down. Movers are hired, new office space is in stone, and I am soooo excited! June 20 it is!

I have decided that to treat myself for paying off all my credit card debt, and making positive changes in my life, I will have a grage sale to sell most of my furniture, give to the Goodwill what doesnt sell, and buy new stuff in Florida. Im keeping some valuable furniture I have, a piano, antique hutch, and the new bedroom suite I just got about 6 months ago, but other than that...buh bye !

Im giving away lots of sweaters and ski jackets, and that kind of winter stuff I wont be needing alot of..

I've also decided to trade in my 2 SUV's and get a convertible instead.

I have picked out a new haircut and color that I think I will have to get used to, but have the appointment made for next week.

Its amazing how broke I was before, and sad, and miserable, felt hopeless all the time, and now...well..I like my life and am looking forward to each new day!

I still have days where I get sad, of course. I still have days where I get worried about something. Buts it the exception not the rule!

I am so, so happy for you, Sarah!! You sound great.

And convertibles are excellent. Plenty of time to have a "sensible" car when you need the extra space in the future. (why on earth did you need 2 SUVs?!!) I bought my car when I split up with the last but one ex and I was single for the first time in 10 years. Best thing I ever bought.

I gave my convertible some TLC this weekend, burned some new CDs and it's amazing how I can immediately generate some feelgood stuff by going out for a drive in the sunshine with the roof down.

Haha!
Why did I "need" an unhealthy relationship?
Whay did I "need" to be a people pleaser?

Apparently I needed to SUV's to contribute to the Middle East Oil Business..

Im way over that!

I am so so happy for me!
This is so much more fun than the old way!

Being over multiple SUV's sounds all good!!

Go for the convertible and burn some rubber for me!!

Since my Mazda died D kindly donated his old Rover diesel *sniff* I've had to go out and buy a cloth cap, pipe and string driving gloves!!

I get sad when I remember my cute little pop up headlights!

You had a Mazda, Eq? MX5? I would never in a million years have seen that revelation coming, although I don't know why. I adore my (non-pop-up-headlights) MX5. I get the same thrill from driving it as I did 4 1/2 years ago when I got it.

I had an old Mazda 323 that I loved till it's fuel injection packed up. Now I can be seen cruising in this:

It's good for developing character on the inside!

Okay, I don't have a convertible and honestly, I've never really wanted one - yea, yea, I know - I'm a strange cookie! LOL. But I do like my car - does that count? (35th anniversary Ford Mustang)

By the way - I LOVE your post. I remember that excitement of WANTING to live and enjoy life. I've slowly been having those feelings back again - but as for you - I am sooo excited FOR you. You sound so great, so positive, and truly happy and excited. I love it!

Sarah...you sound wonderful...
Yeah you will need new furniture for Florida....
Florida commands it's own type....
My condo on Sanibel Island had all tropical
rattan and light colored woods....
Nothing wieghty there.....
Everytime I go to Florida I rent a convertible.....
you have the right idea.......

Yay Sarah! Congratulations! All that sounds so exciting! All the talk about a convertible makes me jealous. No point here, you can only use them for about 3 months out of a year. lol I wish I could go shopping with ya, I love decorating..... with someone elses money of course.
