My trip is planned!
Im getting really excited about my life.
I have booked a ticket for the weeeknd of April fools day to
go down and find a place to live, sign the lease, all that fun stuff. Of course I have been looking online, but Im the kinda gal that has to see it before I can sign it.
So, I have reserved my rental car, a convertible I might add. Have my swanky hotel room (kinda went over budget here) reserved, and am getting pretty excited.
I almost asked a good healthy girl friend to go along for the weekend, but when she said she would love to go, but couldnt really afford it (I dont believe her), decided its better for me to do this myself...the old me would have paid for her.
I have had several movers bid my stuff over the last week and have almost decided to sell most of my furniture and start over, but not quite sure yet.
There are also developments that are looking good for me financially. My parents have a boat and have grown tired of paying slip rent. (Its rough Im sure
So, if I can find a place with a dock, they will pay me what they are currently paying in slip rent..making me a little extra money.
On the work front, I am busier than Ive been in a while, very happy, and while stressed a little, really enjoying my job!
I have continued to do a pretty fantastic job on the new eating plan, still cant break the 20 lb mark, but trying like hell!
All in all, I am liking the person I am becoming. I dont really know that things will work out. But thats ok. I know that if it doesnt, I can try another plan. But, I will know that its all me. pass or fail, its my guts and my glory.

Yeah, thats kind of the way I feel. I have slips but who doesnt?

That is WONDERFUL Sarah and I am sooo jealous . I can only imagine how exciting this must be for you- a new place in Florida. Too cool. You'll be riding around in that convertible checking out all the possible places to live with Florida being your oyster. Lucky, lucky woman! I hope to follow in your footsteps soon on the road to a better and happier life.
