Isn't today one of alcoholics' biggest "holidays": Mardi Gras? I think I'll stick to "celebrating" Paczki Day! haha Our local TV stations are from Cleveland (2nd largest city by population of Polish,behind Warsaw) and I saw a show on this last year. I believe eating pastries was part of this!

Not on my revised deating plan (I hate the word Diet), but I may have to splurge.

It started for Catholics the day before lent....
they wanted to "use up" all the sugar, flour and such...
and there you have it ...."punchkee's......
Yes I like the idea of pasteries as opposed to alcohol today to Pick.....

500 hundred calories, and I was thinking how long I would have to walk on my treadmill to try to work it off, 55 minutes I burned 363 calories, I just cant do it, I will not eat a punchkee, okay you guys can kick me out of here now.

In my area, the day is called "Fastnacht" and they eat powdered or sugar coated donuts.

all right you guys - you have me salivating all over my deskpad and it's pasteries are NOT on my nutrition plan either. i already cheated today and had 6 hersey kisses! (shame, shame)

My pro has just made me a pancake - which I ate with Golden Syrup.

Feck it, it's cold here, I use up a lot of energy keeping warm. (God, that sounds like something R would say!!)
