I think this is a "stories only" forum...just for reading not for discussions.
We talk about codependency a lot in the Naranon and Friends and Family forums.

It can be a bit confusing, there are a lot of forums here. This section is sort of reserved for just stories, no responses. BUT there are heaps of other forums that do discussion, have a bit of a look through. There is a "Women in recovery" section, "Alcoholism" section and plenty of others.

welcome ashley - heck - i don't think lots of us knew we were codependent until we started down the road to recovery. come back and post some more - we're all here to help each other!

I'm an addict/alcoholic first...then through the program realized I'm also an ACOA and severely codependent, I'm sure that there's a few other 12 step groups that I could benefit from as well...
But first things first...if you're in recovery for alcohol & drugs how's that going...cause you can't work on "relationship" problems if one or both of you are still active.
