My son's 1 year anniversary
I am so happy that he's made it this far. 1 year of sobriety. I never thought I'd be able to say that about him. He's had a rough time this past year. But he made it and I thank God for allowing him to get clean and see life as it can be...clean and sober.

what a great gift, a year of sobriety. Congratulations to your son!
Hey Kathy, I reckon it's time to chuck that dodgey crystal ball that kept telling you doom was ahead!! :P (Hope I can get away with saying that!).
You SO deserve this, what a christmas present!!! Enjoy....... Oh and give him an extra special big hug!!

You reminded me of a motorcycle friend of mine who had a brother who fell to all kinds of drugs but the family never gave up on him and beileved in him and most of all loved him. His brother looked like a hopeless case, in the end, he got rehabilitated without professional help and now is making great draems come true and I asked my motorcycle friend what he thought was the raeson his brother could do that??
He said not to sound mushy and stuff but he honestly believed it was because his rother finally believed he was loved. That was his response, can ya beileve that! I am sure your sons recovery has much to do with yoru love for him , its apparent.
I just wanted to extend what I meant by my comment.
