Caught hubby telling the TRUTH???!!!!

In the course of a business conversation with a co-worker of my hubby's yesteday, she relayed something to me. I had suspected my hubby was lying (why wouldn't I) to me about something at work. The co-worker without even realizing it let me know he was telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. She had no idea I suspected he was lying, he had no idea I suspected he was lying (that was a huge step for me) so it was quite exciting when I realized he was telling the truth.

IT IS THE FIRST TIME IN 7 YEARS I HAVE CAUGHT HIM TELLING THE TRUTH! Raised the trust level a couple notches.....that is good...right?

I was always ready to jump on his case when I caught him lying sooooo, I figured I better jump on his case for telling the truth. I talked with him, explained that I had suspected he was lying, but said and did nothing. Related the conversation I had with the co-worker and told him I caught him telling the truth and how good it felt when that happened. He simply said "I am trying, I really am." Can't ask for more than that can we.

Recently I went through a similar situation with my sister when she found out I was telling the truth. When I told her I was trying she said "It shows".

Thank you for sharing this postive milestone. It put a smile on my face this morning.

Yea, you know how we act when we bust someone lying. Well, I busted him telling the truth so I let him know just as I would if I caught him lying. It was a positive experience and we have had few in the past year, you know that jazzman.

Why does your head hurt?

Thats Great HarleyGirl, Its so nice to find something positive to focus on. With the holidays coming up I am trying to keep in mind what I do have and not what I don't. I hope these positive vibes keep coming! Kerry

Yea, me too. Some people just really need to grow up. If she is really in her 30's I would greatly surprised. If in fact she is, I feel extremely sorry for her because she has a lot of problems and I fear as time goes on they will just continue to get worse because of her warped attitude.
I will pray for her that she gets the help she needs.
As always, I can take what I want and leave the rest.
I just pray she continues to read and read and read on here, that may boost the maturity level some for her.
It is so sad.

Jessika, love. Are you sure you shouldn't be hanging out on one of the boards up there upstairs?

Now then Minnie - credit where credit is due, it's not easy to come up with such a well thought out response at that speed - just look how fast she was off the mark!!!

If Jessica is a child or an adult, it doesn't matter. Those are some nasty, snippy little posts. If she is a child, you'll ought to be really ashamed. Reminded me of Jr. High. Ganging up to pick on someone else. Who's showing their age?

No one gets to jugde who visits this forum and who doesn't. Nor deceide who this place is for. And isn't. That was classy.
