Jazz, take a walk on the wild side.
Work relationships have been known to work, and work well, if done right.
As for getting into a relationship with a recovering A, well...far be it from me to advise against that.
That is another thing that can work well.

Back at post 4 I asked for details, think being a recovering A is a detail but you know the score on that one, keep things light and keep it simple.
You've both been in recovery for some time, your both grownups, Well at least she is

Way too funny!!!!
COME ON GIVE..... the whole story!!!!
I say go for it too, take it slow, you said this is a new house .... so go see it and take her a nice plant for a house warming gift. That way when she waters it she will think of you.
We all know A's are very attractive... we have all been attracted to them, but she has 8 years and therefore fits in nicely with your recovery plan. Mr. R helped me alot (and still does) to see things from the other side. At least you know she is not in denial... you know where things stand.
I say take the sexy panties anyway, just in case .... but go just to enjoy the person, stop overthinking it and just relax and enjoy the evening. We did not tell you to take a flippin ring after all..... Its just a date, and not really even that, you are just getting to know her is all.

Oh, I'm sorry Jazz you said "appropriate response".... I don't have one and I don't think there is one!
