Has anyone ever set up or been part of an interventon? please if you have I could really use whatever advice you can offer!!! I think we might plan on one.

Hi

Before attempting to do an intervention, contact a local drug and alcohol rehab. They have people who are experienced in working with families who want to do an intervention.

Just don't do it yourself. Have professionals assist you.

I too am interested in hearing any experiences with an intervention. My ex/bf's uncle and I have discussed the possibility over the past few months but never really came to a conclusion as to whether or not we thought it would have any effect other than escalating his anger and hostility at us.
