Humpty Dumpty
Humpty Dumpty
Broken people. Our posts are often about those who are broken.
Most children's stories are filled with truths nestled within the story. (And yes, some are downright scary...Grimms stories are just well, grim!)
But most are filled with truths. Stay away from the big bad wolf. Don't walk alone in dangerous places. Good can win over evil. Homes made of sturdy materials are stronger than those made of lesser materials.
And then there's poor Humpty Dumpty. No matter what was done, he simply couldn't be "fixed". At some point, all the Kings Men came to the conclusion, "we can't make him whole again".
*SIGH* I always wonder how they reached the point that said to them, "Stop! We simply can't do this anymore".

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the kings horses and all the kings men
had scrambled eggs for breakfast.
