bahookie,I am in Canterbury. Scotland is beautiful, but the times I have been up there,it has rained the whole time.
I have the day off work. Have to work the weekend. Not a fun thought. Weather this weekend is suppost to be nice. I will be in front of a computer screen, answering phone queries. Not able to see outside. How is your work going?
Besides the raining part?

bahookie,I am reading a book called,"Laughter - Still the Best Medicine". The book states, "scientists have found that laughter is a form of internal jogging that exercises the body and stimulates the release of beneficial brain neurotransmitters and hormones. Positive outlook and laughter is actually good for our health"! We now know that there are two types of stress: good stress and bad stress. Laughter is a form of good stress, or stress in reverse.
Laughing is good for us.
Still raining?

Cloudy and windy also in Ireland!!!

Motoring along on coffee and deadlines while my A has four days off - sorry people but I want rain for those days so he won't fight with the neighbours - weird I know but he has some "issues" with them.

So bring on the bad weather I say! Aren't I the spoilsport???

Someday I'll live on a little peaceful island...they say no man is one but sometimes this woman wishes she was....

BTW am I the only Irish person on here?

It's not raining here in Lincs Closethippie, think we're in for a good spell of weather.

Still raining.
I get to go baby shopping at lunch today though, for a woman who's just had a granddaughter here at work. Pink baby clothes! My favourite

I'm sure you can't be the only one from Ireland, Sophia! maybe we should do one of those 'where are you from' threads...

I'm off to practise laughing. I'm in no doubt that it releases happy chemicals in your brain, because I definitely feel happier than I did this morning, before the laugh.
Sore stomach muscles though lol.

Sophia, there are probably lots of people who claim Irish ancestry, but few who actually live in Ireland.
Hope the weather rains where you are at. Sounds like it would be good for you. Don't think you are a spoilsport. You can keep all the rain in your area. Some times I feel like I live in Seattle,Washington. During the winter months, all it seems to do here is rain.

Mornin' everyone!

I'd like to report that I am watching the sun come up and sipping my coffee this morning, not guzzling gallons at a time...

Hey bahookie, glad you got a good nights sleep as well.

Thanks guys - all that talk of rain has made it start here. Oh, how I'm glad to be back in Yorkshire!!

Had my 3 mugs of coffee - fruit tea from now on otherwise I go hyper.

Can I just say how wonderful it is to have so many many Brits on the board now? It's a bit less lonely in the mornings.

I was reading a news article and its said that the UK is going to be the number one holiday spot in ten years time, with all the global warming. Just think, the UK as a warm holiday spot?? Wonder if that article was including Scotland and Ireland? Who knows it could still be raining there.
Sorry,I had to have a bit of fun here.
I had better go look for a small sheep!
