well last night a bunch of the ladies from my alanon group and i decided to go to a play. it was wonderful to have dinner with a lot of nice people all of whom share the friendship of the alanon fellowship.

we decided to make it a monthly get together. we just laughed and had such a good time. only funny part was when we were to order dinner and nobody wanted to order first....lol egad how codependent we all are. but we laughed at ourselves, and we laughed WITH each other. and it was a great night.

just thought i'd share a little hope, and happiness for the day

quiet - that sounds like a ball! i might just have to get some of the girls together in my group and do the same thing!

A lot of times us guys ge together and do the same thing.
Also we get together in large groups, whole families together for pool parties , ect.

My first time back to an alanon meeting in I don't know how many years, we all went to a neighborhood restaurant, relaxed, ate a little food and visited. It was a great way to get back into the program. Thank God!

The fellowship you find in Alanon is very comforting. A few members from my group usually have tea after the meetings. It feels great to relax and laugh together.
