It's a beautiful new day. Hey-hey-hey.

Teach, I'm with you! Anything ELO gets me singing. "Evil Woman" (or Evil Man as I sing it), Mr. Blue Sky, Livin' Thing. I just put my 3-CD The Best of ELO rolling, and I'm in heaven.
Other than that ...
"Beat of a Different Drum" Linda Ronstadt
"Raindrops Keep Fallin' on my Head" BJ Thomas
"Nothin Better to Do" Leann Rimes (her new song)
"Free and Easy" Dierks Bentley
"Before He Cheats" Carrie Underwood
"Find Out Who Your Friends Are" - Tracy Lawrence\
Almost forgot this obscure, yet GREAT Barry Manilow song
"One of These Days"
One of these Days
One of these very ordinary days
You're gonna call my name
And I won't be there
After the days
After these very very many days
You're gonna see the light
And I won't be there
And on that day
Somehow I'll find the stregth to stay away
I won't give in
I will not let myself be taken in... again
Oh no my friend

I used lots of your suggestions, and found a few of my own, and burned a CD I called "Be Happy" -- here's what's on it:
I Will Survive, Gloria Gaynor
All Star, Smash Mouth
Winning, Santana
Waterloo, Abba
Stayin' Alive, The BeeGees
Mr. Blue Sky, ELO
I Won't Back Down, Tom Petty
Won't Get Fooled Again, The Who
Daydream Believer, The Monkees
Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), The Eurythmics
Good Times Roll, The Cars
Good Vibrations, The Beach Boys
Jump, Van Halen
This One's For the Girls, Martina McBride
When God-Fearing Women Get the Blues, Martina McBride
Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye, Steam
I've just listened to it beginning to end. I was having a tough day, but I feel good now!!!

Well... I thought I posted this but didn't. Help! It's Monday! LOL The song that brings a smile to my face is (Cement Mixer) I was in my teens and watching Johnny Carson and he had Libarochi on and when he asked him to play something, rather than some elaborate song he played this one and sang it. It was simple and stupbid and real funny. Cement mixer, putty putty. Cement mixer, putty putty.
God that must have been 30 years ago..... Still makes me smile.
