I finally did it

I finally made it. I graduated from high school yesterday. It was bitter sweet but I am doing okay today. Graduation went great. It was sad but it i time for me to move on with my life and grow more. World here I come. Scarey yes and I am scared but I have to do it. I will be at Ashland University in the fall for Early Childhood Education and Special Needs. I am excited about starting new and seeing how I do on my own without my counselor that i have worked with for the past four year it is really scarey not to have him but he thinks I can do anything so he supports me in what ever I do. He is a great person well I have to got o bed and get up for work tomorrow. See you guys later.
Love,
Shana

Congrats to you on our HS graduation...wow...college. I never made it and think it's awesome that against many odds you're going. You'll make a wonderful teacher and be an inspiration for the kids.

The college will have counsellors there for you, so don't feel you'll be without a therapist. They offer so many free sessions per semester or year. Take advantage of it. Most also offer alanon and other services in regard to drug and alcoholic addiction.

Hugs to you Shana

Renee,
Congratulations! What a wonderful milestone you have reached. I know of Ashland college, as my parents lived near there for about 6 years and when I visited I heard good things from those in the area. Take advantage of all they have to offer, in the way of counseling, support groups, etc. And most of all, have a fun! :wiggle:
