All about me Saturday???????
 

Hey gang....this past week was a whirlwind, absolutley insane for me. I don't think we have done the all about me thing this week...so tell me what will you do for yourselfs today on Saturday?


I bought some of these bath sizzler thingys and I will try them out tonight....I am taking a nap shortly....I will wash my car and probobaly take a long drive listening to my cds...go to Sonic for my coke....and tonight take my daughter to a movie.

I am starting to like it being all about me......

I slept until noon... does that count?

Hi Bonbon

The best thing I am doing for myself is absolutely nothing. No laundry, no housework...just resting, reading and listening to music. I may go to the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" tonight because I hear it is hysterical.

Last weekend was a whirlwind of horror....so I am healing, and pampering myself today.

I love these "All About ME" days...they are my excuse to let go of the guilts for not doing anything more productive.

And, like Smoke, I slept in until almost noon. Was up a couple of times in the night and decided that I would sleep all I wanted today.

Thanks for starting this Bonbon....It's a great reminder that we are worth the pampering.

Hi guys!

I think I am returning to the world of the living the last few days!

I shopped for fabric for our den/2nd bedroom..and we are going to paint. I love to make my nests pretty. And my computer is in that room so we have to get the decor condusive to recovery!

I hung the new picture Ward got me of the beach over my tub and moved the ones I had and CLEANED my sanctuary. Moved all the foo-foo and scrubbed and dusted etc. It smells SO clean I can't wait to climb in the tub!

I bought some new fall silk flowers and put them around...it is officially fall at Casa de Cleaver...

Ward put together a file cabinet we have had in a box for 6 years and I got some hanging files and I am going to get organized.

And I made some invitations and phone calls...we are going to have some friends over for a bonfire in Oct.

And I worked from 8am-12:30...

Now THAT is ME...not that poop who has been laying around letting the doghair collect around her ankles.

My pharmacy made a mistake and refilled my hormones!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to just sit for the rest of the day and enjoy not having a headache, not having a stiff neck and not feeling just plain yuky. You should have seen my face when I saw those wonderful medication bottles. I ran out of that pharmacy before they changed their mind.

It's a good day.

I can't compare ....I am wondering where I will be in two weeks...the A is holding up the house going on the market. I did manage to bring out my fall decoration for my front door...thought that was a BIG deal !

Sounds like there was no need for the All about me Post... were all taking darn good care of ourselves already!!!!!!!

I am soo proud of us!

I didn't make it to a movie, me and my best friend and her daughter just hung out and had pizza. We also planned a trip, she will be returning home in a couple of weeks, to North Carolina, and me and my little one are driving up to visit, I've never been there....and get this she lives 15 minutes from the beach. I am sooooo there!!!!! I am excited. She used to ask me all the time to come visit, I never would because of it involving leaving my A. I am proud to say I am going.

Did I mention to you all I am the Girl Scout leader of my daughters Daisy troop?? Oh my goodness it is going to be busy with that. I am looking foward to it though.

Geeze here it is Saturday night, still kind of early, but I am beat.

No word at all from the A. I am just fine though....

Oh Josie, I would take the glow in the dark toliet seat for me, I'm forever going to the bathroom feeling my way around......hate those lights on in the middle of the night!!! Love that catalog, neat stuff in there!:D

Love the T-shirt! And I have a nite lite in the bathroom...how old is that!? And we have albums and the turntable STILL WORKS!
What a great post to wake up to...I was on late last nite so I slept till almost 10..

My turntable went kaput, and I really
need one. I have about 400 albums
from my teens and early 20's, before
8 tracks even came out-remember!!!!
I watched Easy Rider the other night,
I was singing every song by heart LOL

Hey guys -

Yesterday was an all about ME day!!

I went to San Francisco with the girls to see The Full Monty on stage - it was hysterical - I recommend it if it comes to a city near you. A girls day out is always fun!! Construction was going on at my house, pouring new cement - even a better reason not to be here!!!

About the turntable - my sister gave me her old one last year - I love having it and playing all my old albums!!!!!
